ISO 45001

ISO 45001:2018 is a replacement for OHSAS 18001. Does anyone know why this system changed?

On March 12 2018, OHSAS 18001 is no longer enforced as an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This system was replaced with ISO 45001:2018 which is considered more complete as a whole. For companies that have previously implemented OHSAS 18001, together with the issuance of ISO 45001:2018, they are required to upgrade to this system.

In ISO 45001:2018, companies/organizations can actively improve the performance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) to overcome all potentials and threats that can cause work accidents.
