ISO 50001:2018

Global warming or greenhouse gas emissions, as well as the effective use of energy are still global issues.
As a country that has the status of the lungs of the world, Indonesia’s current situation is inversely proportional to what it should be.

According to research data by Bloomberg.com, air pollution in Indonesia is in the 8th deadliest position in the world with an average death rate of 50 thousand people each year. Not only from the industrial sector, this pollution contribution also includes the use of heating, cooling, lighting and other electronic applications in office buildings.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as an institution concerned with an energy management system, in 2011 issued a standard for an energy management system as contained in the ISO 50001 standard – Energy Management System (EnMS). Along with the development of various global issues and adjustments to HLS (high Level Structure) in the management system, ISO 50001 was adjusted in 2018. The purpose of the issuance of ISO 50001 is for organizations/companies to establish the systems and processes needed to improve energy performance, including consumption efficiency. energy.

ISO 50001 is intended to make energy use more efficient, so that energy costs, especially large industries, become more efficient because of systematic energy management. In addition, the implementation of ISO 50001:2018 can reduce risks due to rising energy prices and increase resilience to energy supply, as well as increase company productivity and competitiveness.

In the ISO 50001:2018 training, there are 3 parts, namely Awareness to build awareness of the articles and implementation of ISO 50001:2011, Energy Review Workshop to calculate and determine Energy Baselines (EnBs), Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs) to determine Significant Energy Use (SEUs) based on ISO 50006 and Internal Auditor to train your skills in conducting Internal Audit
